Large Vintage Bart Ramsour Tin Sign – Proper Americana Beer Advertising (1933)

If you’re going to hang a sign, you may as well hang one that means it. This large vintage Bart Ramsour tin sign stretches a full 178cm wide and comes straight out of 1933 Missouri beer distribution history. Founded in Joplin, Bart Ramsour & Son were wholesale beer merchants and this was a piece of their bold, confident signage that told you exactly who they were. The soft powder-blue ground and hand-painted shaded lettering are absolutely spot on, proper old-school craftsmanship, not modern repro fakery. Yes, it has honest wear, a few marks and fixing holes… and thank goodness for that. Would look fantastic behind a bar, in a kitchen, brewery, garden room, retail space, AirBnB or anywhere that needs a bit of swagger and scale. It’s big, graphic and unmistakably American.
