100% Speedcoupe Sport Performance Sunglasses – Sport and Cycling Eyewear (Matte Metallic VIPERIDAE – Bronze Multilayer Mirror)

These Peakpolar lenses are exceptional. I live in the mountains and I’ve worn them the last few days at a very high altitude in bright sun, which is some the harshest light around. The sky at this altitude looks dark blue and at sunset, it’s blinding driving anywhere. I absolutely LOVE how well these protect my eyes without obstructing my vision while driving. I found that I was not squinting the least bit. The lenses allow for full view without getting fogged up. Temple and nose pads kept the glasses nice and snug on my face even when exercising outside. The temple scoops actually do a really good job of keeping my face cool behind the glasses.These came in a nice sturdy case with extra clear lenses and space for additional lenses (100% offers varying lenses for different scenarios you may find yourself in) along with a little microfiber bag to keep them in.These glasses remind me of my favorite pair of WileyX, except the frames just feel a little *too* lightweight in my opinion. Don’t get me wrong, I know the TR90 material is shatterproof but also meant to be lightweight and extremely flexible. I’m hard on my glasses and expect these to hold up even with the abuse I dish out. They are just not as stylish as some of the other athletic glasses I’ve owned over the years. They don’t look cheap but they don’t look like they cost as much as they do either.As far as the fit- my husband has a much more narrow face, and he did not like how they felt. If you have a more narrow face/head, 100% makes a more narrow-fitting SportCoupe model that may work better.For athletes, these are a great choice. I will update if anything changes but am looking forward to the rest of winter driving in the bright glaring sunlight with these on my face.
